Every single one of my humans knows that for me, the perfect gift is a candle. Candles not only visually add to creating an evocative energy to any environment, the natural scent subtlety lingers through the air and sends your senses into another world.

Along with items that add value into my world. Art is another one of my interests, and I love to discover different Artists and their craft.

Richard Pomeroy is a Somerset Artist & Potter based in Bruton and his chosen medium is Porcelain.

Porcelain is normally associated with The Chinese Dynasty and delicate luxury items. With Kaolin as a 'not so secret' ingredient,

It is a prized material known for its strength, signature translucent white color and smooth surface.

Pomeroy brings to life this material, along with the tin oxide glaze that is paired with the porcelain. Developing these into beautifully hand crafted, Wabi Sabi esque coffee and Tea Ware.

I was recently gifted this candle, which brought a cherished pocket of joy into my life.

Upon opening the box, the scent was one of the first thing to notice.

A calming blend of essential oils. A nurturing and calming scent of Chamomile, Yarrow and Lavender, that instantly prompted a deep exhale; relaxing the body and mind.

The neutral blue colour and organic shape of the beaker add to the unique aesthetic and quality of the collaborative project.

This candle is part of a limited edition of only 191 pieces. A sustainable incentive in many ways. Candle first & Coffee beaker as it's second life.

If you are looking for the perfect and hand made in England gift. Or add a beautifully scented candle into your home; look no further.
